Calvary Christian Church is one church meeting in multiple locations. We believe that church should be Real Simple and make it our mission to Love God, Care for One Another, and Serve our World.
Calvary exists to help every person – no matter who they are, where they’ve been or what they’ve done – know how much God loves them.
We see a large, influential church – meeting in multiple locations – equipping and empowering increasing numbers of people to live victorious lives through faith in Jesus Christ.
In Matthew 25 Jesus commended the good steward: “Well done good faithful servant”. This five word commendation describes the Kingdom life and the way we typically roll at Calvary.
Lily house is place that is set up specifically to support and help young mothers and disadvantaged girls and women to learn how to parent, care for themselves and to be cared for.
Their live-in situation provides comfortable, clean and peaceful surroundings, as well as support and teaching of life skills, by staff and friends who will help you through whatever it is that you are facing.
They offer one-on-one counseling; group therapy; opportunities for learning practical or vocational skills; parenting courses; practical support for appointments; help if you are pregnant or need assistance with your new baby; and many other life-skills and educational courses.
We have a simple formula; we provide a platform for every day Australians to connect through a regular laundry and shower service. The focus is on creating a safe, positive and supportive environment for people who are too often ignored or who feel disconnected from the community.
We have two 10kg washers and dryers in our laundry vans that allow us to complete 40kg of clean washing every hour. Every week around Australia, we do 704 tonnes of washing for our friends on the street.
Each van has set locations and times in which it operates. We always partner with local service providers in areas with the highest need, and ensure that we set up at locations where our friends feel most comfortable. Check out our locations page for more information.
The heart of TTN is all about preaching the Gospel, making disciples, planting churches and raising leaders. Our heart is for the lost of Africa reaching the people where ever they are – in the swamps, on the rivers, in villages, the cities, the towns, in hospitals, at schools, or even the sport field. TTN works to fulfil the Great Commission through ministry.
TTN and our partners are making a difference in the lives of many. Building and renovating rural clinics, equipping hospitals, providing medical outreaches to remote villages, and establishing a hospital chaplain to provide comfort during and after hospital admission, TTN works to improve health care facilities across Africa.
You can enrich the future for a child through TTN sponsorship. TTN builds and renovates schools in remote areas, resources education, sport and feeding programs so that children can access education and health within their own community. Find out how you can make a difference and enrich futures through education.
TTN uses its resources to equip people with a sustainable livelihood for poverty stricken families, mentor entrepreneurial potential and offer enterprise support services. We partner with widows, single parents and families in their local community to equip them with the knowledge and resources for self-sustainable livelihoods.
